Privacy Policy

Last updated: this policy applies to the current version of the service.

Who we are

MY DECK'S OUT ("we", "the service") is a tool for organizing and scoring private home poker games. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Account information. Your name and email address, so we can identify you and sign you in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive your Google password.

Game data. The game nights you host or play in: seats, finishing positions, knockouts, points, and the buy-ins and payouts recorded against your name.

Technical information. Standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, kept for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect payment card details, because the service never processes payments for games. We do not collect location data.

Why we collect it

To provide the service: to run your games, keep your standings, and show your group who owes what. To secure accounts and prevent abuse. To send you the emails you have asked for.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who can see your data

Other members of a season or game night you take part in can see your name, profile picture, results, and the ledger entries recorded against you for that group. This is the point of the product — a league table nobody can see is not a league table.

Service providers who host and operate the service on our behalf can access data as needed to do so. These currently include our hosting and database providers and our email delivery provider. They are bound to use it only to provide their service to us.

We may disclose information where required by law.

Email

You receive email for sign-in links, and for game invitations and standings digests where you have opted in. Every non-essential email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can change your preferences in your account at any time. Sign-in emails are essential to accessing your account and cannot be turned off.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and game history while your account is open. Because results and ledger entries are shared records of a group's games, deleting your account removes your personal details but may leave the group's historical results intact in anonymised form — otherwise one person leaving would rewrite everyone else's season.

Your choices

You can view and correct your profile in your account settings. You can ask us to delete your account. You can unsubscribe from non-essential email at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to request a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain uses. Contact us to exercise any of these.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make a material change we will make that clear on this page.
